Early this morning we saw the first signs from the first hatching egg – a beak peck in the shell. Now this evening four of the 24 chicks have started pecking through their shells. These two are the furthest along. Two days early – but we’re happy to seem them coming!
When we wake up in the morning I expect we’ll have a couple of baby chicks walking around and encouraging the rest of the babies to come out and see the world.
Just in time for Easter this Sunday!
